Hotel Policies
Taxes
The State Sales Tax for Tennessee is 9.75% per
night, the Occupancy Tax for Shelbyville is 7%
per night. This comes to a total of 16.75% per
night.
Tax Exempt status requires a valid Certificate of
Exemption from the Tennessee Department of
Revenue, and the form of payment must be in
the organizations name (i.e. Credit Card). Cash
payments are not permitted for tax exempt room
reservations. All Tax Exempt Certificates and
Credit Card Authorizations must be received
prior to arrival. Tax Exempt status will not be
honored if this information is not received by
management in advance.

If the reservation is made and the physical credit card will not be present at check in with the card holder, a Credit Card Authorization from is required to be sent
in advance. The form can be downloaded in the Forms & Information section on the right of this page. The form must be completed and signed, and faxed
back along with a copy of the front and back of card and the official state issued ID of the card holder. Please fax to 931.685.4936.
Pets
The Best Western Celebration Inn & Suites is a Pet Friendly Hotel with a $15.00 per night per pet fee charged. There is a 40 pound weight limit to the pets
permitted. All pets that are left unattended in the room must be crated or caged while the guests are not present.
